School Year Religious Education
Wednesdays (September - April)
3:45 – 4:45 PM Preschool – 5th grade
5:45 – 6:45 PM Kindergarten – 5th grade
Classes use the Pflaum Gospel Weeklies which prepares the child for the following Sunday Mass. Weekly flyers go home with the child. There are additional resources for the family to use at www.pflaum.com/family. This site offers seasonal activities for the different age levels.
First Sacraments
The second graders prepare for and receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion. Meetings are held in the parish hall to help parents and their children on this journey. The year 2011-2012 meetings are:
- First Reconciliation meeting is at 9:30 AM on Oct. 22 in the Parish Hall
- First Reconciliation is in the Church at 9:30 AM on December 3
- First Communion meeting in at 9:30 AM on February 4 in the Parish Hall
- First Communion Rehearsal is at 9:30 AM on April 28 with First Communion being held at all the Masses on April 28 and 29
